Your cottage could earn €2,040 more a year

20 extra nights, €150 / night

The estimate takes off platform fees (about 15%), Rantio's €99 yearly fee, the 12% commission and VAT.

Rantio puts your cottage on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo and keeps every calendar in step with the local sites you already use, such as Nettimökki in Finland.

How your cottage looks to guests from abroad

We make every cottage an English listing with large photos, clear facts and a price that leaves you at least what you get on the sites you use now.

Nettimökki carries on, the empty weeks fill

When one channel books, the same dates close everywhere. This is how July could look at a Saimaa cottage.

How it works

  1. Tell us about your cottage once

Photos, prices and rules in one form or over the phone. We write the English listings for you.

  2. We open the new channels

Your cottage appears on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. The calendars update each other, including bookings from the sites you already use.

  3. Guests book, you get paid

The platform pays you directly. You answer guests yourself, with ready-made English message templates.

€99 a year and 12% of the bookings we bring

No setup fee and no monthly fee. The yearly fee covers making and keeping up your listings. When a guest books through a channel Rantio opened, you pay 12% of what the platform pays you. VAT is added to both. We never charge for bookings from the sites you already used before, such as Nettimökki.

Listings run for 12 months at a time and renew with the yearly fee.

Mökki monitor: know your cottage is all right

A small box for the cottage wall that sends an alert to your phone when something is wrong. It has its own 4G connection, so it works without Wi‑Fi, and a battery keeps it going through a power cut.

Alerts arrive in the Rantio app, next to your bookings and messages. It suits any cottage, whether you rent it out or not.

Questions

Do I have to leave the sites I already use?

No. Nettimökki in Finland, or any local site you use, carries on as before. When a booking comes in anywhere, we close the same dates everywhere else.

Who looks after the guests?

You do, as now. You get ready-made English message templates, and we handle any listing or calendar problems.

Why a yearly fee?

Writing the listings, choosing photos and linking the calendars takes work before the first booking. The yearly fee covers it.

What do you need from me?

Good photos, prices and rules, plus accounts on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. We help you open them.

Where do you work?

Across the Nordics and the Baltics: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Our first pilot cottages are in the Saimaa region and Lapland.
